Brilliant design and ingenious engineering combine in the refined, elegant style of the world’s first retractable fountain pen – the Capless (Vanishing Point) by Pilot. The internal mechanism of this uniquely designed fountain pen allows the 18K gold nib to retract fully into the barrel when not in use, preventing the ink from drying out when not in use. The white carbonesque, metal body is accentuated with a rhodium trim. 

The Capless fountain pen is refillable for continued use with a Pilot cartridge or CON-40 converter. It is packaged in a sturdy presentation box with a CON-40 converter inside the pen and a black Pilot IC-50 cartridge.
