Made in France, the G. Lalo Vergé de France stationery is a luxurious letter writing pad made from laid textured paper. Originally, Verge paper was made by hand in huge vats. Today, G. Lalo makes the same paper according to traditional methods but with modern techniques. Verge refers to the grid of parallel translucent lines that form as the sheets are laid to dry. These grids are very helpful as guides for handwriting. 

This A5 writing pad contains 50 off-white sheets that are micro-perforated so they can be easily detached. Made from acid-free, pH-neutral paper, the 100gsm stock is resistant to feathering and show through, making it ideal for all writing instruments including fountain pens. 

Matching DL or C6 envelopes sold separately.
