Blackwing Labs are small batch pencil releases that offer a fun look at the design process. The results see Blackwing experimenting with new features, or putting new spins on old favourites. Each pencil will be foil stamped with the date of the release, and each box will be numbered by batch. 

The first Blackwing Labs release is Lab 11.27.20. With this Lab, Blackwing are experimenting with holographic variants. The standard design features a grey barrel, black ferrule, black clip, black eraser, black imprint, and balanced graphite. The holographic variant features a white barrel, silver ferrule, white eraser, holographic imprint, and balanced graphite. Each pencil has the Blackwing logo stamped on one side and “LAB 11.27.20” stamped on the other. Each set will include 12 pencils total and include at least one holographic variant.
