VintaΒ inks are obsessively designed and meticulously mixed in the Philippines using high quality ingredients.Β The VintaΒ Vintage collectionΒ takes inspiration from the Philippines during the 70s. This is a very interesting period in Philippine history defined by convergence of greater political resistance from students, a growing resistance against the Marcos regimeΒ andΒ flourishing of art and pop culture.
The set includes three unique 15ml fountain pen inks:
- Blaze 1970 (Silab)Β – Commemorates the βFirst Quarter Storm,β one of the earliest collective demonstrations led by students against the leadership and administration of President Marcos. This vibrant orange shade is a reminder hat we all have the fire within us to fight against injustice and demand accountability.
- Pilgrimβs Blue 1970 (Peregrino)Β – In November 1970, Pope Paul VI visited the Philippines. Known as the βPilgrim Pope,β this colour celebrates the deep and longstanding Catholic faith of Filipinos.Β
- Pink Rose 1973 (Binibini) – In 1973, Margie Moran of the Philippines won the Miss Universe pageant in Greece, making her the secondΒ winner from the Philippines. Pageantry in the Philippines is a source of deep pride and joy, which is captured in the bright pink ink.
While theΒ Vintage CollectionΒ looks back in time, the Neon Collection looks to the future and the possibilities that await.
