Pilot Iroshizuku inks are famous for their quality and spectrum of colours that are inspired by Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue. Iroshizuku comes from the combination of Japanese words ‘iro’ which means colouring, and ‘shizuku’, which embodies the image of dripping water.
Take-sumi has been used in Japanese homes since ancient times as a water purifier, to control humidity levels and for its healing properties. The black shade of Take-sumi emulates the deep, rich black of take-sumi, so familiar to the Japanese.
Iroshizuku is a dye based ink that comes in an elegant 50mL glass bottle with a wide opening for larger pens and an angled base, making it easier to reach the last few drops.
