Vinta’s Fairytale series takes inspiration from the Lola Basyang fairytales, written by Severino Reyes. Clouds of Gray is a gray-toned ink with brown and purple nuances, speckled with a gold shimmer. It is inspired by the “Kastilyong Gawa sa Bakal” story, which is about a young princess trapped in an iron castle by an evil sorcerer and the brave prince who rescues her. The year 1958 is when the Sampaguita Pictures released the first Lola Basyang film.
